Shutesbury property transfers span $22,000 to $268,000 as most sale prices go undisclosed
Shutesbury recorded 14 property transfers between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only six deeds listed a sale price, ranging from $22,000 to $268,000 with a median of $112,500. The period's top transaction was a $268,000 sale to Kestrel Land Trust Inc. from the estate of Jean Dianne Footit and personal representative Thomas A. Masterton. Montague Road and Pelham Road each saw two recorded sales, and North Laurel Drive Extension had two deeds recorded on the same day at the same address. A bank or credit union appeared as buyer or seller in 10 of the 14 transfers. With most prices undisclosed, the data don't support a clear read on overall market direction.
