Few Prices Disclosed as Shutesbury Records Ten Property Transfers
Ten property deeds were recorded in Shutesbury between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only three disclosed a sale price, ranging from $500 to $100,000 with a median of $25,000. The period's top disclosed sale was 77 Baker Rd at $100,000, sold by Carrie Ann Myers to UMassFive College Federal Credit Union, which also bought the second-highest disclosed sale at 449 Montague Rd for $25,000. Banks, a mortgage company or the credit union appeared as buyer or seller in six of the ten transactions. West Pelham Road saw two transfers, both without disclosed prices. Limited price disclosure constrains what the data shows about overall market value this period.
